What does the future of living look like? That question defines the nature of our work with OBOS, one of the largest public housing companies in the Nordics. Together, we’re prototyping the future of living.
An entire apartment building in the centre of Oslo is the setting for a full-scale living lab, where our team of designers and innovation strategists work with OBOS and their partners. Using co-creation and experimentation, we’re gathering insights into how we might create a better and more sustainable way of living in the future.
The future of living
Exploring and improving concepts such as shared spaces, housing services, usage of smart technology, environmental and climate-friendly solutions, we're discovering opportunities that will help solve the key issues of the near future – such as increasing urbanisation, adjusting to climate change, mental health, new family structures and changes to our work life.
Solving these issues are key to adapting to a future with rapid urbanisation influenced by an ever increasing demand for society to become more sustainable. With this in mind, the work also centres on influencing policy makers and society in general on changing the perception around the future of living.
And that is why, what we can learn from people is at the centre of our work. And to this end, the full-scale experimentation has residents at the heart of everything we’re doing. To give insight into the future needs of humans, and to challenge and shape the mindset of tomorrow’s housing industry.
Through insights, co-creation and prototyping, OBOS have gained an understanding of how to optimistically push the boundaries that will unlock the future of living and the cities that will be shaped by this.
Where is a new efficient workspace management platform that paves the way today for the hybrid office of tomorrow.
Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare leader, chose Manyone as the partner to deliver an ambitious refreshed experience of their brand.
To secure VARD's position, as one of the world's major designers and builders of specialised vessels, and to support their upward trajectory even further, we worked with them to create a refreshed and future-proof digital experience.
