The Manyone Way is all things Manyone. Dive into our values, the company we’re building and how we plan to get there.
years since we launched Manyone in Copenhagen, Denmark and what a ride!
of all Manyones feel they are given the freedom and trust to lead themselves in the direction they want to grow.
Why the world needs us
The big why
The next decade will only take five years
One thing is for sure: Everything is changing faster than ever. That’s what we created Manyone for.
The next five years will bring 10 years’ worth of change. If our clients want to make it tomorrow, they must work in radically different ways to get to double speed, with a different kind of partner.
A partner that blends strategy and design execution in one process, at a rapid pace. Now.
The consultancy of the future
Introducing the strategy-design hybrid
Strategy and design can no longer be two separate disciplines applied in a sequential process. The disciplines must be merged into one approach and in one team with one purpose.
That’s what Manyone is built for: To be a strategy-design hybrid fuelled by strategic creativity.
Strategy led by execution
Businesses of today can get distracted or even paralyzed by lengthy, retrospective strategy reports with no real connection to what is actually happening, changing and working out there.
At Manyone, we do it differently. We try out smart and well informed ideas, get feedback, discover opportunities, repeat.
Experimental strategic processes and creative execution make fast, precise and adaptable development possible.
The values at our core
We are Manyone
What’s in a name?
In the case of Manyone, quite a lot. We’re many teams, many nationalities, a diverse group of people bringing a multitude of great values, lived experiences and disciplines to the party.
We come together as one team with one foundation and one way forward, and while doing so, we commit to our four brand values.
They express who we are as a company.
We’re an eclectic bunch with many backgrounds, skills, methods, and beliefs, guided by one common ambition to solve the challenges of the future.
Guided by The Manyone Way, we work as one, act as one, and we are one–except, we are many.
Our view on the future is positive, we see potential in our clients’ challenges and opportunities.
We’re positive, open and forthcoming.
Serious and professional, of course–but hey, there is no end to the opportunities out there.
While technology offers limitless opportunities, creativity is the driver of change.
That is why Manyone is built by and for designers, keeping creativity at its heart.
Deep professional expertise and a dedicated drive to simply deliver are the entry tickets to become a part of Manyone.
With a foundation in deep expertise we can all be trusted, we are all thorough, genuine and responsible.
A bunch of people who care
Manyone's people mantras
Our world calls for fantastic thinkers and doers. Individuals working, developing, and delivering together. Leaning into one another and into the future to ensure that the ever faster change happens in favour of people, planet, and business.
That’s the place we want Manyone to be. And that’s why we have three overarching people mantras that we never stop repeating.
They give direction to how we treat one another, how we do our job, how we engage with clients and partners, and how we run our business.
We are greater together
Manyone is a we company and a how can I help? company.
We’re made up of people who care for one another, for our clients, and for our business. We learn from each other. We help when help is needed. We simply grow great together.
We rarely say I – everything at Manyone is done by We.
Collaborate, co-create and make the sum greater than its parts.
Simple as that.
We are always adaptable
Fast is good, change is fantastic, and curiosity is everything.
We’re entrepreneurial to the bone and built for constant change.
We know that only by having an open mind and leaning into new possibilities, can we be part of shaping a better future.
We’re the real deal and deliver positive change through action.
When in charge, we lead. We make it happen, and what we deliver can only be worldclass, so we make it shine – always.
Working at Manyone might be a job. But it’s a job that matters for other people’s lives. It’s also where we spend many waking hours. So in everything we do, we strive to make the best impact.
The many and the one are what make us strong
Manyone's diversity and inclusion principles
We want to live in a world where everyone is treated with equal respect. Where everyone has the same opportunities for growth and wellbeing regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, points of view, past experience, skills and abilities.
We know we’re far from there yet. Getting to great won’t happen overnight, neither in the workplace nor in the world at large, but it starts here, and at Manyone we’re committed to be a force for positive change.
If we’re not part of the solution, we’re part of the problem.
Our 10 principles for how to secure a diverse and inclusive workplace at Manyone
We see our differences as our collective power.
We know that in order to build a better tomorrow, we can’t be afraid to confront our weaknesses today.
We work actively towards gender and culture-balanced ownership and management, both locally and globally.
We know that great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere and in any way, if you create the right space.
We acknowledge that everyone has biases and address them when hiring, promoting and working together.
We don’t accept discriminatory behaviour and have no tolerance for it.
Feeling safe and sound in the workplace is a right, not a privilege.
We want everyone to be able to speak truth to power without fear.
We never accept abusive behaviour from anyone working at Manyone, whether they’re management, employees or contractors.
We are ready to walk away, if we experience any kind of abusive behaviour from clients or business partners.

For people, planet and profit
Our commitment to sustainability
At Manyone, we have the abilities needed to make the world a better place. That’s why it matters what kind of clients we work for, what and how we deliver, how we act daily, and how we take part in the global sustainability agenda.
To make it real, we commit to the following three sustainability principles:
We push to make everything we design and deliver more sustainable for people, planet and businesses.
We take an active role in promoting the global sustainability agenda through partnerships.
We will make – and keep – Manyone carbon neutral by January 2023.
A thriving business is an ethical one
Our business in the world
As a global company working with teams and clients worldwide, we constantly take an active stance on who we work for, the intended outcome of our work, how we create results, and where we locate our teams.
We face dilemmas head-on guided by clearly articulated business ethics and a continuous debate at Manyone about how we play our part in creating a better future by design.
When engaging with or acquiring new teams, we always perform a thorough review of their code of conduct to ensure that they act in accordance with our business ethics outlined below:
We work with and for people all over the world if the political and cultural environment allow us to work according to The Manyone Way.
We don’t engage in projects that promote or support political or religious ideologies not aligned with The Manyone Way.
We only engage in projects that don’t deliberately cause harm to people and planet. Manyone’s judgement on what that encompasses is probably tighter than most.
The business dynamics of Manyone
Big consultancy, large projects, great impact
Scale to matter
Size is the ticket to deliver change. That’s why Manyone is a growth company at DNA level.
We plan to be more than 500 Manyones worldwide by 2024. That might seem a bit overwhelming. After all, we started the journey in 2019, and being small definitely has its advantages.
But it matters to have a significant size plus a global footprint when working with large, international clients to tackle the greatest challenges of the future.
That’s why we need to be many. It makes us more relevant, visible, and capable of delivering cross-disciplinarily.
We grow by acquiring and partnering with strategy and design companies who share this ambition. And we grow by continuously adding new talent to the existing teams.
Best of both worlds
Strength of size and agility of small
At Manyone, big doesn’t mean slow and static.
We’re a large team made up of many smaller, multifaceted, agile and adaptable teams. In all teams, people trust each other and have a common, direction-giving purpose.
What the teams have in common are our core values, mantras and the ambition of Manyone, and the business processes to support them.
Manyone’s organisational structure favours fast decision-making processes over heavy, top-down management.
Compared to an organisation that dictates every move from one centralised place, we can make any decision when and where it matters.
Our structure might be complex with many dynamic parts. But hey, the world is a complex place, and simple doesn’t always cut it.
