Accelerating Business Development with Futures Design
Aker Solutions engineers and builds energy infrastructure, offering products and consultancy services for low-carbon and renewable energy projects. We helped the leadership team refine its new engineering consultancy venture as a strategic pillar in the transition to renewables. Using our Futures Design methodology, we explored changes shaping the business and industry, creating a framework to challenge future business models and culture. We produced a tangible artefact using storytelling and design fiction, shifting the organisation from reactive to proactive and enabling cross-functional and external collaboration.

Rebranding a nimble giant of commodities trading
Danske Commodities (DC), one of Denmark's top ten companies by revenue, partnered with Manyone after their acquisition by Equinor to support their 2025 strategy focused on global growth in renewable energy. As their strategic partner, we launched initiatives to update DC's strategic narrative, future brand position, and communication concept. We also refreshed their messaging hierarchy and designed a transformative CVI. The new brand highlights its collaborative approach and the commercial benefits of being part of Equinor.

Digital and Service Design to boost Transformation
As the largest generator of renewable energy in Europe, Statkraft is significantly invested in enhancing its digital presence. We facilitate collaboration across various business units, including hydrologists, engineers, product owners, strategists, and developers. Our role involves enhancing processes, co-creating solutions and identifying critical needs and requirements for action. Utilising a design-driven approach, we enhance the user interface and experience across multiple tools and systems and create a comprehensive design system for cohesive branding and streamlined operations throughout. Statkraft is facing major changes and together with product owners and architects we have also used our Strategic Foresight capabilities to explore future business processes.

Helping Denmark’s largest utility become a one-brand company
Norlys, Denmark’s largest energy and telecommunications group, provides energy, EV-charging, internet, TV, and mobile services. Following several mergers, Norlys aims to become a unified brand. Manyone supports this transition with user insights, digital and brand strategy, and end-user innovation. Key milestones include launching a new website and a self-service platform for customers. We continue working with Norlys to understand end-consumers and drive various innovation and brand projects.

Skagerak Energi, a Norwegian renewable energy company, embarked on a mission to create awareness and engagement of their new corporate strategy. We developed a name, strategy narrative and key messaging, crafted a communication strategy and developed a playbook with assets and ideas designed to be effective across various channels, formats and a diverse group of employees. The new communication aligns with the pre-existing north star, values, brand platform, and visual identity while infusing fresh elements.
