Held back by an outdated visual identity, S•HUB embarked on a brand journey with Manyone to establish a fresh, dynamic identity with the strength to empower growth and positive change for businesses, stakeholders, and the future.
From outdated to dynamic
S•HUB is a leading non-profit business knowledge network and community for sustainable business in Norway with more than 120 member organisations across many different sectors. Their visual language largely evoked associations such as outdated, not lean or dynamic, and lack of inspiration. In other words, it was far from aligned with the company's strategy, falling short of mirroring their aspirations and throwing a spanner in the works of achieving objectives and maintaining a significant influence on a sustainable business horizon.
A toolbox for efficiency and visibility
S•HUB needed a well-functioning toolbox for establishing a consistent visual dialogue for increased visibility and effective handling of daily and coherent communication. Furthermore, it needed to include opportunities to modify visual volume controls for the ability to push the sliders on their identity mixing board up for that vital attention around activities and arrangements.
Diversity at the core
The NPO's success is measured in their stakeholder's progress and realisation of goals. As a business ecosystem, diversity is key in terms of the inclusion of different stakeholders, such as organisations, public entities, academic institutions, and other NGOs. Each contributes unique viewpoints, expertise and resources to collectively enhance the sustainability efforts in Norway's business landscape.
To symbolise diversity, we drew inspiration from the multitude of colours that (for the most part) were previously used only in the company logo. A vibrant palette featuring a broad spectrum of shades creates full backgrounds, generates variety, and establishes dynamic contrasts.
An ecosystem beacon embracing change
The result is a visual identity that speaks volumes about S•HUB's commitment to sustainability. It amplifies their vital role as a catalyst for change and progress. It boldly stands as a beacon of inspiration for all stakeholders, embodying diversity, vibrancy, and dynamism – mirroring the very essence of an effective ecosystem.
Simple animations, complemented by dynamic elements, amplify a vibrant presence and create an eye-stopping effect to capture people's interest in an already saturated market. Purposeful for an organisation hosting numerous events, summits, and sub-network meetings for inspiration, learning, and creating connections.
