A distinct digital identity for a modern utility company

Norlys is the result of a merger of two leading Danish utility companies, forming Denmark’s largest energy and telco provider with over 1.5 million customers. Manyone partnered with Norlys early on, crafting a distinct digital identity and a user-centric web presence, while driving strategic design initiatives that redefined their industry positioning.

Challenge

Redefining a merged identity

Following the merger of two utility giants, Norlys needed a cohesive digital identity that would differentiate them in a competitive market while reflecting their new role as Denmark’s largest energy and telco provider. The challenge was to unify diverse services under one brand and offer seamless digital experiences for over 1.5 million customers.

Approach

Designing a seamless customer experience

Manyone collaborated with Norlys from the outset, developing a strong digital identity while also supporting them with strategic design initiatives. We led the design and development of their website, and introduced a self-service platform to enhance user engagement. Throughout the process, we worked closely with internal and external partners on guidance and implementation to secure a smooth transition.
