An all new TV OS experience

VIDAA, part of Hisense Group, set out to shape the next era of connected home entertainment. Together, we reimagined its Home OS as an intuitive, responsive platform, tailored to each household member and their viewing habits throughout the day.

The result combines dynamic layouts, intuitive navigation, and real-time recommendations into a dynamic space – creating a seamless, engaging TV experience that evolves with each viewer.

Challenge

Navigating complexity to deliver the optimal viewing experience

As a part of its ongoing evolution, VIDAA was looking to develop the next generation of its platform, the Home OS, poised to redefine the future of connected home entertainment.

We needed to design a platform that operates within strict technical frameworks, global regulations, and the expectations of diverse stakeholders – from marketing to product strategy. At the same time, the system had to feel dynamic, with layouts that suggest motion, while offering a personalized, intuitive experience at every moment of the day.

Approach

Iterative design under real-time collaboration

Our work was fast-paced and highly collaborative, with daily meetings to adapt the platform based on feedback. We balanced regulatory and technical constraints while testing multiple layouts and interaction patterns. Each step focused on harmonizing user needs, product goals, and brand expression to create a cohesive, scalable platform.

Outcome

A foundation for the future of TV

The first milestone, a conceptual demo held at the technology showcase CES 2026, received highly positive feedback. Today, the platform continues to evolve, combining personalized content, dynamic layouts, and a user-centric architecture – creating a foundation for a rich, adaptable TV experience.
