Designing AI-powered experiences for the last meter and beyond
We partnered with a robotics founder to bring clarity and focus to an AI-powered delivery robot for luxury high-rises. Through strategy, design, and storytelling, we shaped a compelling vision, positioning the product as both a service and a spatial platform – defining the brand, product, and customer experience to bring packages right to your door.
What we're solving
A design concept for AugustMille’s last-meter robot, Lily
Last-meter delivery as a gateway to spatial intelligence
Our client saw an opportunity to fix the broken last-meter delivery experience in luxury residential buildings – spaces that are often defined by concierge service but plagued by messy, insecure mailrooms. While they developed the robot’s technical proof-of-concept, we were asked to shape the value proposition and reimagine the delivery experience from the customer’s point of view, with an eye toward unlocking broader use cases in indoor navigation and spatial autonomy.
AI-powered spatial mapping enables Lily to navigate multi-story buildings
An articulating arm to push buttons
Designing for movement, context, and trust
We kicked off with a workshop to explore user needs, business models, and the delivery experience across every touchpoint. Mapping the journey, from building owners to residents, we defined critical pain points and uncovered opportunities for value creation. This helped us articulate a focused product vision, a clear MVP, and a service model designed around both current user needs and future spatial use cases.
A secure storage “belly” keeps deliveries secure through the last meter
A delivery robot and a platform for spatial navigation
We helped define Lily, a robotic concierge designed to navigate high-rises and deliver packages with ease. From conversational AI to secure compartments and autonomous indoor navigation, every feature was crafted with the resident experience in mind. The vision came to life through brand, design, and a pitch deck to secure investment to shift from prototypes to pilots, laying the foundation for future applications in AI-driven spatial services.
The Manyone team helped us cut through the noise and find our focus. That clarity has transformed how we move forward.
