The brand identity applied

Challenge

Defining a distinctive identity

As a newly founded studio, Vinter needed a brand platform and visual identity that reflected their philosophy of sustainable, user-focused interior design. Their challenge lay in creating a brand flexible enough to represent diverse projects, while ensuring clear recognition and a strong, human-centered point of view within the Norwegian market.

Images move upwards in a scroll: the pictures include chairs and photos of a modern, cozy interior – including rooms with warm lighting, wood accents, and marble countertops. There is a light yellow background.

Approach

Designing for adaptability

We developed a design concept that mirrors Vinter’s philosophy: functional, sustainable, and people-first. A variable typeface was introduced to symbolize dynamism and adaptability, complemented by a warm, characterful font and a neutral supporting typeface. A wide color palette and imagery rooted in real projects ensured both versatility and authenticity.

The second features a textured armchair against a backdrop with large, light text. The third panel displays a woman with a confident expression, set in a rich, dark red background. The fourth panel contains text with a minimalist design on a light grey background. The final panel reveals a modern interior office space through a glass partition. Overall, the images convey modernity and sophistication.

Outcome

A brand built to evolve

The result is a brand identity that balances recognition with adaptability, echoing Vinter’s collaborative and sustainable approach. The design system allows for varied expressions while maintaining coherence, helping the studio stand out in a crowded field. With this platform, Vinter can confidently showcase their belief in environments that inspire, endure, and enrich everyday life.
